Angelina Jolie's "Style of Jolie" collection was launched back in 2010 in collaboration with designer Robert Procop, who had previously worked with other big-name celebrities like Brooke Shields. On the Robert Procop website, the description of his collaboration with Jolie is described.
"Through the collaboration between Angelina Jolie and Robert Procop, Angelina has drawn upon her personal inspirations and influences to develop her style. Together they strive for nothing less than artistic innovation. The beauty of these creations is matched by the beauty of spirit behind Angelina’s most heartfelt mission – to empower children in crisis."
Each piece designed alongside the Hollywood actress is gushing with artistry. Even Procop had to speak on her natural talent as a designer to Pursuitist, saying that “She is a truly gifted artist and a pleasure to work with; she brings joy to everyone around her. It is an honor to work with someone who uses her talents to help the lives of so many.”
Jolie's daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt is now working with Robert Procop in the same way as her mother had done nine years before. The Jolie-Pitt family gathered on the Hollywood red carpet for the premiere of Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil on September 30th. Keen-eyed onlookers could spot Zahara wearing pieces from her debut collection in collaboration with Procop. While walking the red carpet with her mother and five of her siblings (Pax, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox), Zahara donned pieces from her eponymous collection. The jewelry was emerald-cut and included a bracelet with a matching ring as well as three-tiered earrings.
According to a press release for this collection, “all proceeds from the Collection will benefit the Los Angeles-based House of Ruth Shelters, which provided transitional housing for battered women and children.”
Robert Procop has been involved with the Jolie-Pitt family for some time since he was instrumental in the design for the 16-carat engagement ring for Jolie when it was Brad Pitt's time to propose. Each piece in Zahara's collection features quartz jewels of white, yellow and pink shades along with pink sapphires.
