Since 1991, Traditional Jewelers has been at their Fashion Island shopping center located in Newport Beach, California. Marion and Lula Halfacre initially opened their store in Jackson, Mississippi in 1975, selling part of their business four years later and moving to Newport Beach. In 2007, Marion passed away, and five years after, the company was sold to Hyde Park Jewelers.
“We felt after five years of operating the business and having expanded and relocated the store, that the messaging to our clients would be consistent and that we wouldn’t duplicate our resources,” Hyde Park Jewelers CEO Michael Pollack said to National Jeweler. “More and more, our clients are shopping more than one of our locations.”
Hyde Park Jewelers is also scheduling a website redesign later this year. The new site is meant to help them raise their presence in the online jewelry market. The company supports designer brand boutiques from Roberto Coin, Omega, and Breitling.
