Diamonds are the birthstone for April so today we're highlighting our top five diamond picks new to All spotlight some gorgeous ice, so grab a hot beverage and let's get started.

1. Cartier Limited Edition "Crash" Watch in 18k Rose Gold and Diamonds

This STUNNING piece that reminds us a little of a Dali painting features 470 brilliant-cut diamonds, clocking in at 4.27 karats. Estimated retail  is $131,000 but a fraction of the cost at Fortrove.

Rubellites come from the family of tourmalines and the name translates from the Latin word, "rubellus" which means "reddish". Well, we're overwhelmed by the deep red hue of these earrings, with 9.13 karats of rubellite brought out even more by the 122 brilliant-cut diamonds.

3. Van Cleef & Arpels Diamond and Grey Mother of Pearl Alhambra Necklace

If you're looking for a more subtle option, our favorite necklace of the week has to be the Alhambra. Classic and iconic with a VVS1 quality, .05 diamond at its center.

5. Loree Rodkin Diamond Cross Ring

Rounding out our Friday countdown is this beautiful ring from Loree Rodkin, jewelry designer of First Lady Michelle Obama's inaugural jewelry in 2009.  While the pieces the First Lady wore are now on exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., you can get your hands on a piece from the prestigious line here.
