Former Tiffany & Co. employee Catherine Lacaze will be replacing Hamdi Chatti as head of Louis Vuitton's jewelry and watch departments. Chatti had previously worked for the company for nine years before resigning her position as the brand’s vice president of jewelry and watches. She previously served as Tiffany's vice president of North American marketing and has amassed quite the résumé after 20 years in the jewelry industry, boasting luxury jewelry marketing experience in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
She will be joining another former Tiffany & Co. employee, Francesca Amfitheatrof, who became the company's first female design director from 2013 to 2017, credited with the creation of both the Tiffany T and Return to Tiffany lines. She has been head of artistic direction at Louis Vuitton's watch and jewelry division since April of this year.
