The Met Gala is over and we're left breathless by all of the red carpet looks. Tonight, it seemed the higher the crown/halo was, the closer to God.
Alternatively, there were some subtle looks. On any other day, these looks may not be labeled "simple" or sleek, but on May 7, as the Met Gala celebrated it's new exhibit, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination", they were positively tame.
And while we certainly love a bold statement, there's definitely something to be said about a subtle silhouette paired with a stunning pair of earrings or a necklace. While these looks might skimp on impact, we feel they translate to every day life.
