A unique Cartier Art Deco bracelet will be placed on the auctioning block this April thanks to
Christie’s New York’s Magnificent Jewels auction. The piece is strung with all sorts of charms reminiscent of Disney's initial animated feature,
“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The charm bracelet is made from 14-karat gold as well as enamel and was created to coincide with the release of the aforementioned film.
As a result of the iconic film's release, Walt Disney received an honorary Oscar during the 11th Academy Awards. Disney's wife, Lillian, donned one of the bracelets when the animated feature premiered in the year 1937.
The bracelet shows a depiction of Snow White and all seven of her dwarven friends lining the gold chain. The charm bracelet would have retailed for around $100 back during its initial release. However, Christie's had made a prediction that the piece will sell from between $15,000 and $20,000 on the auctioning block this April.
