While we wait with baited breath for the wedding of the year (that's Prince Harry's wedding to actress Meghan Markle if you didn't know) we've been treated to pictures from another lovely royal wedding to tide us over.
Prince Christian of Hanover wed former lawyer/model Alesandra de Osma on March 16, 2018. The ceremony took place after the pair were married in a civil ceremony in November. We can't blame Alesandra for wanting to make it official in a much grander way. If we had access to some family jewels, we certainly would be pushing for extra celebrations, too!
The bride wore a stunning lace, long-sleeved wedding dress to the nuptials, paired beautifully with the Hanover Family Tiara and long veil.
The Hanover Tiara, originally worn and still owned by Princess Caroline of Hanover (also apart of the Princely Family of Monaco), was just worn last year by Ekaterina Malysheva when marrying Hereditary Prince Ernst Augst of Hanover.
We love the way the tiara has been used by both brides. Alessandra appears to be wearing the diadem higher/taller, adding height and lending more grandeur to her already stunning gown. Malysheva decided to wear the tiara further back on her head, letting her beaded gown and veil get more attention.
Who wore the Hanover Tiara best, dear readers? Was it Alessandra de Osmo or Ekaterina Malysheva? Let us know which regal look you prefer in the comments below.
