Pomellato had recently put forth a campaign to celebrate International Women's Day with the rest of the world. The Pomellato Sisterhood Initiative featured both women and men of global renown, including Jane Fonda, actress Peyton Roi List, Pomellato CEO Sabina Belli, Ozwald Boateng, Emma Weymouth, Chiara Ferragni and others. Fonda's collaboration with the brand during its second annual International Women's Day event has been ongoing.

A three-minute video was created, boasting a message of inclusivity, as each guest express a heartfelt message: “Until all of us are included, we are all excluded”; “Community teaches you to think not only about yourself”; “My biggest responsibility is to empower other women”; and “Every woman…shares a sisterhood with each other.”

Directed by Igor Ramírez García-Peralta, the black-and-white video ends with Ferragni saying “Pomellato—caring for women since 1967.” The hashtag for the movement is #PomellatoForWomen, and the campaign was launched during the company's 50th anniversary in 2017.
