Brother Wolf has declared that they will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to the Tree of Life Congregation and first responders. These donations will take place throughout the month of November, and include all special orders. The religious jewelry manufacturer is doing this in response to the recent tragedy that took place in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, where an anti-semitic gunman opened fire. Tragically, eleven people were killed and six were wounded, including four police officers who arrived at the scene.
Brother Wolf co-owner Jonathan Tesauro said that “This town is stronger than hate, this town is tough as nails, we have hearts and spirits made of steel and we are Pittsburgh strong.”
A verified GoFundMe page dedicated to the families of victims of the shooting has nearly reached its goal of $1.2 million. Much of the proceeds from that will also go to repairing the synagogue. Anyone who wishes to donate directly to the Tree of Life synagogue should visit their website.
