Jewelry designers Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin have taken a year and a half to work on their customized alloy they've called "Black Gold," employing the help of metalsmith Elias Ruiz and jeweler Rogelio Ortega, who they've worked with for quite a while.

Spinelli Kilcollin has received massive jewelry industry cred from their pieces. Their interconnected mixed metal ring stacks have proven to be popular, and the incorporation of this newest custom alloy will make them even more sought after. Spinelli Kilcollin debuted the Black Gold collection with the help of their recent retail partner, Bergdorf Goodman in early March.

According to Spinelli, “Black rhodium’s dark façade plays such an important part in our collection and is a favorite of our customers. After a lot of hard work, we are proud and excited to introduce Black Gold to them and the industry at large.”
