According to HarpersBazaar, last Saturday was a lovely day of revelation for many admirers of the royal family. Meghan Markle's maternity leave would have to wait as her and Prince Harry attended Trooping the Colour, the annual celebrations for the queen's birthday. As Markle waved to the adoring crowds gathered at the event, many had noticed a new ring adorning her right hand. Onlookers had previously wondered if it was a commemorative piece to signify the birth of her first child, Archie.

People later revealed that the piece of jewelry was an anniversary gift from Prince Harry. Precious stones, including diamonds, could be found around the band. An eternity ring is often given as a milestone gift, and a fan account called Meghan's mirror has discovered the ring's "delicate pave-set band."

Eternity rings have been a common occurrence with the royal family, as Prince William had gifted one to Kate Middleton after the birth of their first child, Prince George.
