In case you missed it, Jennifer Lopez received the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards. Oh, and she just happened to be wearing $2 million dollars worth of jewelry. And custom Versace.
The pure diva stunned during a ten-minute performance of her most popular club and dance tracks, all in custom Versace. We all witnessed the love she showed to her fans, MTV, and her beau, Alex Rodriquez, who she called her "twin soul". We guess Alex really likes diamonds, too!
But her true winning moment came on the red carpet before the event. Lopez appeared in a silvery-mesh asymmetrical number with S T U N N I N G bling.
All jewelry was courtesy of Tiffany and Company, who Lopez has forged quite the relationship with ( the brand appeared prominently in her video single for "El Anillo", or "The Ring") recently.
The most special piece of her jewelry ensemble happened to be a pair of one-of-a-kind earrings from Reed Krakoff’s first Tiffany & Co. Blue Book collection. Lopez also wore 70 carats of diamond bracelets and rings with six-figure price tags, for a total look that rang up to about $1,690,000. Add the cost of those earrings . . . and the total tops $2 million.
But don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got. Again, they were just borrowed, people!
