Marc Hruschka has joined the ranks of the retail tech startup Hero, serving as their president of luxury strategy and partnerships. He previously worked for Chopard USA as their president and CEO, and chief commercial officer of John Hardy.
Hruschka also worked for high-end jewelry brands like Cartier, Montblanc, and Tiffany & Co., and was vice president at Chanel and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Hero's mission as a company in the retail technology industry is to transform traditional retailers into what they call “smart stores.” They will work with the retailers, allowing them to branch out online, and communicate with their consumer base with real-time messaging. The service also includes connecting to customers via live streaming.
Jewelry companies and conglomerates that have adopted this recent technology include LVMH, Richemont, Harvey Nichols, Ted Baker, John Hardy, and Jonathan Adler. Hero was founded by Adam Levene in 2015 and Alistair Crane is the CEO.
