Stephen I. Sadove of Saks has recently joined the ranks of the Movado Group, bringing his over 25 years of leadership experience to its board of directors. Sadove had initially retired in 2013 after spending 11 years at Saks, rising to the top as the company's CEO. From 1991 to 2002 he held several positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, eventually finding home for his last years with the company as president from 1997 to 2002.
Sadove aided Clairol to become the highest rated hair care business in the U.S, relaunched the Herbal Essences brand into a $700 million venture, and closed a sale of beauty care company Procter & Gamble for around $5 billion.
His inclusion on the Movado Group's board of directors will have him consulting with ten other members, each of which boasts the same domestic and international successes and professional experience in the retail, financial and business worlds.
