Floyd "Money" Mayweather found himself wandering Manhattan's Diamond District after spending some time in Atlantic City. The former boxing champ was seen at Pristine Jewelers and Avianne & Co. Jewelers, both on W. 47th St. this week, spending over a million dollars on product.
According to Avi Davidov of Pristine Jewelers, Mayweather spent close to "seven figures" on some new watches for his three children. He also purchased a necklace for himself.
While in Davidov's presence, Mayweather perused his wares, paying particular attention to the $7million “canary diamond” ring on display. According to the jeweler, the champ made a mention of coming back to the store before his departure later in the week.
A source that keeps Mayweather's travels in close consideration mentioned in a statement to NYDailyNews that “The champ loves to trade when he goes to the Diamond District. He has so many watches and rings. He calls it his ‘hobby.’”
