On March 12th, 2019 world renowned superstars Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez (J-Rod) shared a special occasion with their combined 90 million followers on Instagram. On that day, A-Rod dropped to one knee and proposed to his significant other on a sunny beach in the Bahamas, sporting his World Series ring as well. Not only was the ring that he slipped onto J-Lo's finger impressive, but the solitaire engagement ring boasted a massive rock.
According to a report from Page Six, the engagement ring is a 16 ct. emerald-cut diamond ring that costs $1.8 million. “Alex had been shopping around for the right ring for the past seven months. He knew for a long time that he wanted to propose to Jennifer. He wanted to get it right,” stated a source from Page Six.
The newly engaged couple are most likely still spending time at the Mike Meldman-owned resort on the island of Great Guana Cay, and the search for the ring's designer is still on.
