The Original Fortrove Designer
Jewelry Blog

Zoara.com has unfortunately closed down according to a recent post on their website. Before the shutdown, the diamond-centric e-tailer was purchased in 2016 by De Beers sightholder Dalumi Group.

“Unfortunately, it is time for us to say goodbye,” says the letter on the front page of Zoara's site. “As of January 1st, 2019, Zoara is no longer accepting orders. All currently outstanding orders will be completed within the next few days and shipped out accordingly.”

The company was founded in 2008-09 as a developed project by Israeli e-commerce platform, Clixie. Its site had previously sold to 40 different countries and when Dalumi acquired it in 2016, they had inherited a catalog of over 200,000 diamonds, which is more than any e-tailer site.

The farewell letter on Zoara.com concluded: “It was our honor to provide you with outstanding diamonds and fine jewelry to celebrate the important moments of life. Thank you for all your interest over the years, and we wish you all the best.”
