Zackery Hicks is the executive vice president and chief digital officer of Toyota Motors North America, and now Signet jewelers newest appointee to their board of directors.  

“As part of our Path to Brilliance transformation plan, we identified the need to continue to strengthen our digital and data analytics capabilities to advance each of our three strategic priorities: customer first, omnichannel, and a culture of agility and efficiency,” said Signet chairman Todd Stitzer in a statement regarding Signet's newest hire.

“[Hicks’] data analytics experience will be instrumental for Signet in our omnichannel strategy to improve individualized customer targeting.,” added Stitzer. “Our goal at Signet is to leverage systems for a stronger customer experience, especially on mobile.”

The board now consists of 12 directors; six men and six women. Hicks is also president and CEO of Toyota Connected, and works as the chief digital officer for Toyota Motors, heading the company's digital transformation and mobility group. Due to his leadership, the project has expanded from its successes in the United States and began reaching towards Europe.
